Open Call: Poetry Chapbooks. Charlotte Lit Press welcomes submissions of poetry chapbook manuscripts of 18–36 pages from writers of all backgrounds to be considered for publication in our chapbook series. We’re open to a broad range of styles, and appreciate manuscripts that tend to a topical or thematic thread. Opens April 1, closes April 30 or when we reach 200 submissions. Call for Submissions: confluence haiku journal 2026 Poetry Prize
confluence invites you to submit one haiku, tanka, or other Japanese short-form poem on the theme of death and dying. The best poems will share in $500 in prize money and be published in confluence. The Nuts & Bolts of Submitting Your Work to Literary Magazines
In this online seminar, we’ll talk about how to research literary magazines, how to submit your work, how to track your submissions (for free), and what to put in (and leave out of) your bio statement. You’ll leave the class with a draft of your bio, and there will be plenty of time to get your questions answered. April 8 @ 2 PM. Full details and registration.
Montreal Poetry Prize 2026
Enter your poem of 40 lines or fewer for a chance to win a cash prize of $20,000. An international jury will select sixty-five finalists and the winner will be chosen by the final judge Natalie Diaz. All finalists will be published online and included in The Montreal Poetry Prize Anthology 2026.
Submission fees for first entries are $25 until the early bird deadline 1 May, and $28 after that until submissions close on May 15. Every additional poem is $20 at any time (Canadian dollars). Details and submissions.
