Pinesong: The North Carolina Poetry Society’s Annual Anthology of Contest Winners
(formerly named Award Winning Poems, pre-2003)
To read the dedication in the most recent Pinesong (to Kathryn Stripling Byer), go to the Pinesong Dedicatee page.
Each new anthology is unveiled at the annual spring Awards Day held at the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities in Southern Pines. Our current editor is Leslie Rupracht.
NCPS members are entitled to receive one free copy of each year’s edition of Pinesong. This may be picked up at any spring, fall, or winter meeting in Weymouth. If you are unable to attend a NCPS program to pick up your current copy, please request one by mailing $4.00 for postage to: Bill Griffin, NCPS Treasurer. Additional copies can be ordered for $12 (for one book, plus $4 postage and handling.) Make checks payable to NPCS. In addition, each contest winner receives one free copy, mailed to each winner unable to attend the spring Awards Day.
In addition, recent back issues are available at meetings and through the mail:
- The current anthology issue is available for $6.00 per copy.
- All available earlier anthology issues are $3.00 per copy.
If purchasing through the mail, add $4.00 for shipping and handling for the first copy,
and $1.50 for shipping and handling for each additional copy.
